The main theme of the CITY OF THINGS conference is: sharing the experiences of the SOUL-FI FP7 project, and understanding the links between City-Making, Internet of Things and FiWare.
The SOUL-FI FP7 project is one of the 16 accelerators that were set-up by the European Commission to create startups based on FiWare technology.

The main challenge of the hackathon is: to develop an alternative to energy labeling of buildings through ideation, prototyping and data crunching. Eneco is supporting this Hackathon through providing data of 100’s of TOON® users, and it allows the TOON® device to be hacked. In addition we will provide arduino’s and other stuff.
Both activities (conference + hackathon) are programmed to support each other. A detailed programme is also available online.
Attendance is free but registering is required.
